Beatrice Carlson is a visual artist, printmaker and jewellery artist. She is a French visual artist living in Auckland for the last 15 years.
I have “a genetic fashion disorder” with a great grandmother fine linen embroiderer, 2 grandmothers couturieres…and a French Fashion Design Diploma.
As a visual artist, my work has been shown in Auckland and across New Zealand as well as internationally, with my Etchings appearing in juried shows and Museum collections in Japan, New Mexico, Bulgaria, United Arab Emirates, Belgium and Portugal.
10 times Finalist of the WOW Awards from 2010, Runner up 2010 and Winner 2012 of Aotearoa Section. "Marquise Rawahi" is part of the World of WearableArt Collection at the National WOW Museum, Nelson.
My 2018 Finalist entry is displayed with the current exhibition at the National WOW Museum.
